Donate to the Kappa House on Prospect
The campaign is complete, but the needs of this old house continue. Please add 265 Prospect to your list of annual philanthropies.
Ways to Give to the Kappa House on Prospect
Just as you consider WVU, Kappa Kappa Gamma, your church and your local charities each year, we ask you to add the Kappa House on Prospect to your list. Annual gifts of any size help the Beta Upsilon House Board plan repairs instead of reacting to emergencies.
Give by check
Make checks payable to Kappa Kappa Gamma Fraternity/KHOP and mail to:
714 Venture Drive, Box #146
Morgantown, West Virginia 26508
Give online
Online donations are accepted and carry a small transaction fee. For the current online giving link, email [email protected].
Make a pledge
Many sisters chose to spread their gift over several years. To set up or complete a pledge, write to us at the address above or by email.
As a 501(c)(7) fraternal organization, donations are not tax-deductible to donors.
Join the Kappa House on Prospect Perk Club
The Perk Club recognizes alumnae who give $1,000 or more to the house. During the capital campaign, more than 100 donors joined, along with the Morgantown and Charleston Alumnae Associations, which have always been there for the chapter. Perk Club gifts made the largest projects possible, including the new roof and the dining room renovation.
Where Your Kappa House on Prospect Gift Goes
The House Board keeps a prioritized list of capital improvements and reviews it regularly. Current needs include:
- Replacing the remaining original windows
- Redoing the sidewalks around the house
- Kitchen renovations, including a commercial refrigerator and stove for the staff kitchen
- New carpet in the upstairs hallways and bedrooms
- Rebuilding a reserve so the house is ready when emergencies happen
Read more about these projects on Challenges and Needs, or see what has already been done on Improvements.
